Vaccinations are a crucial part of your child’s overall health. Hepatitis B (HepB) HepB vaccine needs to be given to all the newborns within one day of their birth. The next set of doses is administered after the child completes the first or second month of their life. Between the age of 6 to 18 months, parents should ensure that they kid receives the third HepB dose.

Diphtheria (DTaP) The child vaccine schedule recommended by the CDC directs the parents to get DTaP vaccination when the child is aged 2, 4, and 6 months respectively. After these 3 immunizations, the child must get the 4th dosage anywhere between the age of 15 to 18 months. The 5th dose is required to be taken when the child is between 4 to 6 years of age.

Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib) Like the Diphtheria, the first phase of the child vaccine schedule for Hib mandates the parents to get 3 vaccine shots in the 2nd, 4th and a 6th month since the child’s birth. On the other hand, the 4th dosage is required to be taken when the child is between the age of 12 to 15 months.

Pneumococcal (PCV) The PVC has the exact same vaccine schedule as HiB. So, the child gets their initial three immunizations in the 2nd, 4th and 6th month since their birth. The 4th vaccination can be taken when the child is between the age window of 12 to 15 months.

Rotavirus (RV) RV has 3 doses which must be taken when the child turns 2, 4 and 6 months old.

Polio (IPV) The IPV vaccinations are directed to be given to kid when their age is 2 and 4 months respectively. After this, the third dose is to be given when the child is aged between 6 to 18 months. The following dose must be taken when the kid is anywhere between 4 to 6 years of age.

Influenza After turning 6 months old, the child is supposed to be given a yearly influenza vaccine.

Mumps and measles (MMR) According to the child vaccine schedule, the MMR is supposed to be taken by a child when they are aged between 12 to 15 months. The 2nd dose is recommended to be taken, once the child is between 4 to 6 years of age.

Chickenpox (Varicella) Varicella too, like MMR has to be given to a child, when he/she has aged between 12 to 15 months. The 2nd dose of Varicella is to be taken when the child is between 4 to 6 years of their age.

Hepatitis A Between the age of one and two, the kids are supposed to take two shots of the Hepatitis A vaccinations.
