4 Natural Ways To Remove Body Hair
Right from the removal of ingrown to facial hair, there are a number of home remedies that can help one with risk-free body hair removal treatments. Read on to find out four of the simplest options!

Turmeric – a perfect natural treatment for hair removal
We all know that turmeric, when added to curries and stews, is a great ingredient that is loaded with flavors. Turmeric also has a number of antioxidant properties: it helps in reducing irritation of the skin, fights bacteria, and keeps the skin healthy.

Turmeric is commonly known as a powerful natural treatment for hair removal. The antioxidant called curcumin present in turmeric helps in reducing hair growth. Turmeric can either be used in powdered or raw form as a remedy for removing body hair.

Mix one tablespoon of turmeric powder with the same quantity of gram flour and add sesame oil to get a thick paste. Apply this paste to the areas where you want to remove unwanted body hair. Keep the paste on your skin for about 30 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. You can also gently scrub the paste on the skin. This easy remedy can be tried once in every week.

Cornstarch and egg
Egg is known to nourish the skin. Also, when eggs dry, they harden to become waxy. This can be a great mask that helps to remove body hair. Cornstarch added to the egg mask adds more thickness to the mask, thereby helping the removal of most stubborn hair.

Take one egg and add one tablespoon of cornstarch and another tablespoon of sugar. Add water to mix well and form a thick paste. Apply this paste to the areas where you want to get rid of body hair. Let the mixture dry for 25 minutes and peel it off. The peeling would also pull out some of the body hair. You can wash the body part with running water.

Oatmeal scrub
A natural exfoliating agent, oatmeal is one of the most popular natural and home remedies for removal of unwanted body hair. Oatmeal helps in exfoliating the skin and removes dead skin cells. This makes your skin soft, supple, and healthy. It is also interesting to know that deep exfoliation helps in getting rid of the hair follicles on the face. A simple yet effective oatmeal scrub can be one of the best body hair removal remedies that you can try at home.

For the scrub, take ground oatmeal and add yogurt to make a thick paste. Apply this paste to the face or desired body part. Scrub the paste gently on the skin and let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the dried paste with running water. You can try this homemade oatmeal scrub once every week and notice the reduced growth of body and facial hair.

Using sugar for ingrown hair removal
We see several sugar scrubs at shopping malls and spas, but you can also make one at home. It does not take much of your time and you would end up with your own sugar scrub that helps to remove irksome ingrown hair. Some people also use salt as a scrub, but this can get more aggressive on the skin, causing inflammation of skin and rashes.

Mix one cup of white cane sugar with half a cup of olive oil. You can also use jojoba oil as an alternative to olive oil. Add 10 drops each of lavender essential oil and tea tree oil. One can use more drops of these essential oils if the skin is infected or sensitive. Scrub the skin with this mixture during a shower as this is the best time to scrub and exfoliate.

It is important to note that if you are using the mixture in your bikini area, be sure to use it outside of your body. Continue to wash the areas where you have exfoliated to remove the residue oil from the skin. You can use this remedy twice every week to keep off the ingrown hair.
